Meanwhile, Wealthsimple Trade rounds out the top four, solidifying the dominance of $0 commission firms.

On the other end of the spectrum, big bank-owned brokers struggled to stay competitive, with BMO InvestorLine, RBC Direct Investing, and Scotia iTRADE all ranking near the bottom due to higher fees and fewer cost-saving opportunities.
