Surviscor will provide consumers with an online ‘company selection’ tool in the near future.
Surviscor conducts industry scorCards™, similar to past Gomez rankings in Canada. scorCards™ will provide the chosen industry with competitive benchmarking and relative rankings based on the online offering available to the retail client.

The Surviscor scorCards™ are comprised, in some cases, of over 1200 binary questions that are divided into multiple categories. The scorCard™ process is accomplished by meeting with firms surveyed, performing independent site research as well as performing online analysis of the site’s performance along with anonymous email contact with the firms.

Each firm is analyzed by category and then an overall ranking is established using industry defined user usability statistics based on the importance of the category on the overall ranking. For example:

In addition to the category reviews, Surviscor performs ‘User Profile’ scorCards™ for each industry and uses the same categories for each one. For example, Online Brokerage has two main profiles and an Overall Ranking. The profiles are:

  1. Investor
  2. Trader

Each of the firms is evaluated under each profile and the Overall result is determined using an appropriate percentage breakdown of the industry user.

The final determination of the Overall scorCard™ value is bringing together the various profile into one single overall customer level. Once again, each Profile will contribute to the overall customer based upon industry usability statistics.

scorCards™ serve as industry benchmarks for consumers and industry firms and identify the firms who are considered leading-edge solutions providers and those whose online offerings are well below industry standards. Surviscor collects and analyses the following information through direct analysis and surveys:

  • website features and functionality
  • cost of services (where applicable)
  • email responsiveness
  • website responsiveness
  • consumer usage research

Surviscor generally secures national or regional press coverage and will endeavour to secure daily or monthly public based publications.
